After Blondie and The Viking, came sliced bread. We're still much cooler.

Good morning, beautiful world.

The temperature is dropping, the leaves are changing colors, my roots are showing, and...my word, Thanksgiving is two weeks away!

I hope you all have your turkey's ready to be stuffed and sewn.

As this is Blondie and The Viking's first ever official blog, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank YOU, the viewer, for visiting our web page and for listening to the show! It means the world to us; thank you for your continued support.

We're still a relatively new concept, so hang tight as we're developing the site and show! Isn't it funny how much easier it is to paint an image in your head about someone else's ideas, but yet it's about as difficult as helping a cow give birth to come up with something iconic to represent your ideas?

We are filling the schedule up with interviews for the month of November, so keep checking back to see who's coming up!

On Monday morning, we will have these fly fellas on the show with us:

Between the Two

They are "Between The Two", and they hail from Northeast, Pennsylvania.

Check them out at: http://www.myspace.com/betweenthetwo

"In a year’s time, Between the Two has catapulted from local anonymity to national spotlight. In 2007, they performed over 180 dates from coast to coast and shared the stage with acts such as Relient K, Anberlin, Red, Haste the Day, and Showbread. The band also released an independent EP, “The Depths of You”, a roller coaster ride of electronic pop rock pleasure.

The band begins work on a full length album in January 2008 with producer Dan Strain of Noisy Neighbor Studios, Nashville TN. The project, currently untitled, is set for release in the fall of 2008. The band’s first single “Deeper Still” is slated for national radio release in the spring, with a full touring schedule beginning on the west coast in February."

Listen in, people! You don't want to miss it.

Sincerely,

Blondie (and The Viking too, I guess)
